Licensing Street Managing Director JJ Ahearn

JJ Ahearn : Managing Director

JJ is a veteran of the licensing industry having worked for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, CBS Television, and Memcorp Asia. While at Nickelodeon, JJ worked on such hit properties as: SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, South Park, Chappelle’s Show and Spike TV.

At CBS Television JJ was responsible for new business licensing of over 50 CBS properties including Survivor, CSI, Beverly Hills 90210 and Star Trek. He turned around the CBS online store and was responsible for all retail development across specialty, mid-tier and mass channels.

JJ served as both Director of Marketing and General Manager for Memcorp Electronics, makers of Memorex consumer electronics. As General Manager of Memcorp Asia, he oversaw marketing, promotion and finance, both in Hong Kong and China. JJ also established licensing agreements worldwide for Memorex brand consumer electronics including Canada, Mexico, Latin America, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe, and more.

JJ has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BSBA from the University of Florida.

Jason Korfine has spent the last 20+ years in the entertainment marketing business, building and executing business strategy and marketing plans for some of the most notable properties in TV/media. 

At Broadway Video Entertainment, Jason helped develop the first-ever licensing and merchandising program for Saturday Night Live, as well as marketing initiatives for classic properties such as Lone Ranger, Lassie, and Underdog. Jason established a consumer products division at Sci-Fi Channel and launched Sci-Fi’s first-ever licensed merchandise, in addition to overseeing their e-commerce business on

At Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, Jason oversaw licensing for Comedy Central, Spike TV and Paramount Pictures properties, including South Park, The Godfather, Chappelle's Show and Star Trek. In addition, Jason drove all aspects of the consumer products brand management for Nickelodeon stalwarts SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

As VP Marketing for CBS Consumer Products, Jason oversaw marketing and brand management for the Star Trek franchise, working closely with licensees and retailers to create major support for the 2009 theatrical release.

Jason has an MBA from Baruch College and a BA in Communications from Rutgers College.
